Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe

Being a Chicago girl, 1 thing I know is food, right? My other big claim to fame? I chase Country Star’s Tour buses around in the Summer. Thanks to Lunchbox for sponsoring this post  -where I get to chat up 2 of my favorite things!

Brad Paisley Bacon Cheeseburger Kraft Foods Challenge

1st let’s get to 1 of my hotties, Brad Paisley. That pic was taken in 2001. The 1st time I saw him. I was actually chasing my guy Tim McGraw and his bus that Summer. He played a festive tour and a ton of amazing artists were there. We had 3rd row seats for this show. I typically aim for 1st, but #WhiteGirlProblems. I saw him play a wicked guitar and heard that smexy voice. It was love… Look how young he was, huh? Hit me up on Twitter and ask me to share some of my other pics with you! I’ll hook ya up! 😉

And Now, The Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe!

Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe Ingredients

Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Slices Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Slices Swiss Cheese
  • 2 LBS Ground Beef (85/15 fat)
  • 1 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1 TSP Onion Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 TSP Pepper
  • 4 Soft Buns
  • 8 Slices Bacon (cooked, drained)
  • Your Favorite Toppings (I used lettuce, tomato, pickle)

Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger Directions

DIRECTIONS:

In a large bowl, mix meat and all seasonings. Really get in there too! Mix with your hands until evenly combined. Divide meat into 8 equal portions. They should be slightly larger than your bun as they will shrink during cooking. Nothing worse than a huge bun, tiny bacon cheeseburgers, right? 1/4 a slice of cheese. Place all 4 squares on top of 1 pattie. Cover with 2nd pattie. Press together and make sure the edges are sealed really well. We don’t want a drop of that cheese oozing out! Do same to remaining patties. This recipe will make a perfect double stuffed bacon cheeseburger for 4 hungry adults.

Fire up your grill! Place burgers on hot grill and cook for about 4 minutes, flip, cook for another 3 minutes. Top each with a slice of Swiss cheese and cook for another minute until cheese melts. Remove from heat and let rest for 3-4 minutes. Place on soft bun, top each with bacon and your favorite fixin’s. Serve with fries. Because you have to have fries with a Double Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburger. It’s a law. Or, it should be.
